Change in schedule:
As a third grade team, we are changing how we teach Science. Science will now be taught after lunch and students will go to different classes to learn about Science and social studies through reading, writing, listening and speaking. This is to better differentiate and challenge our students to help them succeed.
Part 3: Ecosystems
As a class, we integrated ecosystems and art to create a desert, Rain forest, and forest ecosystem. Those will be coming home this week. Please watch for them, and ask you student a little about the ecosystems (what lives there, grows there, temperature, ect.).
Part 2: Living and Non-living
Next week, we still start diving into our science core. We will start with learning about living and non-living things in our world and what characteristics they all have in common.
